Captain Kenneth Kimmey was born and raised right here on the Texas Gulf Coast in the booming metropolis of Baytown. He started diving in the mid-80’s and found his way to the Fling and Spree as a divemaster in 2000. Kenneth made the jump to Captain on the M/V Fling for the 2003 season, and decided that was a much better job than divemaster! He is a master of fixing anything with nothing, and is always willing to take a shot at something he’s never seen before.

In his copious free time (yea, right!), Kenneth runs a small charter boat for fishing and diving the near-shore platforms and artificial reefs. He is also active in the local dive community, having served as an officer of a large local dive club.

Kenneth does all of this and a real job, too, with the goal of ditching the 8-5 and joining the rest of us as a full-time dive bum in the very near future. Kenneth looks forward to seeing you aboard the M/V Fling.
